A Scout is reverent. He is reverent toward God. He is faithful in his religious duties and respects the convictions of others in matters of custom and religion.
Cub Scouting offers a lot of important opportunities for growth of character for our boys, and reverence is an important but often overlooked component. As the boys grow and move onto Boys Scouts, the emphasis on this component deepens. This is also true with the new Cub Scouting program.
